About Dr Aman Chungh

Aman studied medicine at the University Of Southampton, gaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 2014. Prior to this, he had gained both a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree and a Bachelor of Science degree.

Following his medical degree he worked as a hospital doctor for two years in Dorset that encompassed a range of medical and surgical junior doctor roles. He then went on to begin surgical training in Brighton and Sussex, however at that point realised his passion for being in a more patient engaging role.

Aman has since spent several years developing his knowledge and exposure to a broad variety of medical and surgical fields that makes him a well rounded physician. He has enjoyed managing acutely unwell patients in A&E, looking after the elderly with complex medical needs, assisting with operations in theatre, running minor injuries clinics and also has focussed on treating mens’ health problems.

Aman has, over the last few years, treated a number of men with male health problems. This includes treating hormonal imbalances, hair loss and erectile dysfunction. In his previous role and over the years, Aman has been responsible for treating a vast number of men with primarily hormonal imbalances. This invaluable experience puts him in a relatively unique position in the UK whereby his practice is not just guided by results and numbers, but more importantly being able to get a feel for where a patient’s hormone imbalance may lie by focussing on symptoms for example.

Hormone Clinic

Aman applies a logical approach to men's health, acknowledging that optimising hormones alone rarely provides the very best outcomes in quality of life improvement. He likes to understand what other factors in a patient’s day to day life may be converging on the common symptoms of tiredness, anxiety, reduced libido, etc. Offering helpful tips on how to improve sleep quality, dietary advice and improving the management of stress, for example through breathwork or meditation. Over the years Aman has also found that this particular forum can be one, without the stigmas associated, where men feel more comfortable discussing their mental health and he is always very happy to advise on the best places to find appropriate support when required.

Aman’s approach to men's health is not to focus in on, for example the hormones alone, but to treat each patient as an individual in an holistic manner.

Each patient is unique in their body’s response to hormone imbalances and replacement therapy, thus building good rapport and understanding patients is key.
